Dear radio friends,

During September 2015 for personal reasons i request to FAT Group my resignation from all the post's under my work. My resignation was accepted by FAT HQ. So for your info I'm not anymore Portugal Coordinator, FAT Qsl-Manager, FAT WC Manager and also not anymore FAT HQ member.

In these moment I'm a simple member who will help FAT Group when requested.

All cards for activations or members under my Qsl Management i will support it until 31-10-2015, after these date you have to get info with FAT HQ Group to know the new managers or how to get your qsl's from old qso's with members under my Qsl Management.

Thanks very much for your confidence all these years but now it's time to get time to my self...

31FAT/ESF EUSÉBIO TRIBUTE

(1942-2014)

Portuguese FAT Team decide put on air during next days our Tribute to our Great Man and Player Eusébio da Silva Ferreira.

Four stations will be on air from 08-01-2014 to 19-01-2014. Call Sign's will be ESF1, ESF2, ESF3 and ESF4. Your objective it's work all these 4 stations.

Special Qsl card will be printed for these SES- Special Event Station and a gift will be send to stations that can logged all 4 ESF's.

As you know these event it's running under FAT Contribution rules, so as a SES it's Voluntary Contribution, only need send SAE - Self Address Envelope. Any donation are welcome.

LITTLE STORY ABOUT "THE GREAT EUSÉBIO"

Eusébio da Silva Ferreira, known to all simply as Eusébio, was one of the greatest and most charismatic footballers of the 20th Century.

BORN: 25-01-1942 Mozambique

Early Career: Started on Sporting Lourenço-Marques, a nursery club of Sporting Lisbon, but was signed by Benfica for £7.500 at the age of 19.

Benfica: Helped side beat Real Madrid 5-3 in the European Cup final in 1962. Won 10 leagues Championships and 5 cups in his 15 years at Benfica.

Portugal: Scored 41 goals in 64 international games.

Starring Roles: Named European Footballer of the Year in 1965 and top scorer at the 1966 World Cup with 9 goals.

Eusébio died on Sunday 5th January 2014 of a heart attack aged 71.

31FAT010 QSL Management - Policy

Hi Guys. Just writing a few words for all 11 meters community. Since long time I'm getting some OM's abusing of my charity... I've been reply to all qsl's from few years ago, with or without any kind of contribution or a simple SAE - Self Adress Envelope.

Once that i still request FAT Standard Contribution: SAE+1$ or SASE (SAE+IRC) or SAE+1€ and i reply until 2 qsl's with just 1 FAT Standard Contribution, i can't support anymore cards coming without nothing inside...

These condition it's just implicated to my Qsl Managements as FAT members that I'm Manager or others activities. Also very important that some FAT Activations are free or voluntary contribution you should send your SAE -  Self Address Envelope once that some cards are coming back because of bad address writing.

If you made qso with my simple call sign 31FAT010, your qsl it's welcome and for these you just need send SAE. For my personal call sign i don't request any $$$ or €€€.

All cards that i have in my hands received without FAT Standard Contribution for any of my Managements will be reply without stamp, so your card will be delivered to you but you will pay the post office tax on your country.

Other important subject it's writing my call sign on my address on envelope !!!

Hello guys. Once again Dx Lover's Team have the pleasure to bring to 11 meters enthusiastics another great Dx-Pedition. Now we decide to be part of Island Festival 2012.

After looking for some Iota or IWI with easy chance to be active, we decide to put again on air BL-013 Murraceira Isl. These one was active for the last time by AT group back on 2001.

During the Island Festival 2 and 3 June 2012 we will be on air and also we will try to be active during these Summer 2012.

Working conditions very simple: Ts-50+AT-50 Bamby antenna and 25/100W power. Log system used, just report changed.

As you know normally all Dx Lover's Team activations are with Voluntary Contribuition, but for these one's we hope you can use for these time the FAT standart contribution: SAE+1$ or SASE, just to help on mailling services. NEW RADIO ERA...

Hello to everybody. Before write these text I really made a big reflection if I'm going to be understood or not, anyway it’s my opinion and my way to look about New Radio Era…


When new cycle (24) starts to give us a few more chances to work some good DX stations we start to see a lot of Non Senses activations on air…


Stations from European countries doing 15XX/DX or 31XX/DX and others and others… The only objective of these activations are requesting for $$$.

If you want to promote your group use your own callsign!!! Do you need a qsl from Portugal ask for a qsl exchanging… why pay 1 or 2 dollars for a qsl from an easy country???


Other Non Sense operation it’s what is called as 000 (Club Station), as the name say, Club Station It’s a Club operated by their members, minimum of 3 in my modest opinion and contribution in the past was always as free or voluntary. Now what we see??? Club Stations operated by one member from 1 or 2 years on air and asking for $$$... Please be shame on you… It’s these the correct way to promote a Dx Group???


This situation continues from few months ago and few friends of mine have the same opinion as me, THESE ISN’T THE CORRECT WAY DO RADIO…


I’m not against contributions, I’m against to that operators that are only on the air just to collect a few more $$$. Be shame on you and please do a favour to our 11 meter community, move your ass from your chair and do a Real DX for us…

Sorry for my words but some one have to say it, you can like or you can not like it…

Hello Guys, these S.E.S. Special Event Station it's on air on 2010 because of the 200 Years of the Peninsular War. On 1810 Napoleão Bonaparte and their troups were diffeted by Portuguese troups with the great help of English troups with the leadding of Duque of Wellington.

Now we are celebreating the 200 years of the expulsion of the french troups from our territorie.1810 - 2010.

Soon i will upload more photos about these National Florest, declared patrimony of Unesco.
